Nepal Telecom CDMA service (Sky Phone / C-Phone)
CDMA fixed-wireless and mobile service of Nepal Telecom, sold under the Sky Phone and C-Phone brands. Nepal Telecom later switched off its CDMA base stations nationwide and began returning the 850 MHz spectrum to the regulator.
Why it ended
Source says CDMA had become costly and hard to maintain, and shutting it let the company focus on newer technologies such as 4G LTE and 5G.
